Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Only Test Series (“we”, “our”, “the platform”) collects, uses and protects information about you when you create an account, take tests, or otherwise interact with the service.

By using the platform you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the service.

We collect only what the platform needs to run and to attribute a record to the right account.

• Account details. Name, email address, phone number (when verification is required), the target exam you are preparing for, and the password you set.
• Preparation data. Tests you attempt, answers you submit, time spent per question, scores, ranks and analytics derived from these.
• Device and session data. Browser, operating system, IP address, session tokens and access logs — used to keep the account secure and the service reliable.
• Accessibility preferences. Text size, motion, contrast and focus-ring choices are held on your device only; they are not sent to the server.

• To create and secure your account and authenticate every request you make.
• To deliver the core service — serving papers, evaluating attempts, keeping a record of results and producing analytics.
• To send transactional email (verification codes, password resets, receipts).
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations and improve the platform’s reliability.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your answers or performance to train third-party models.

Information is shared only in the limited cases below.

• Service providers. Infrastructure, email delivery and analytics vendors, bound by contract to use the data only to run the service on our behalf.
• Legal. When required by law, court order or a lawful government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of users or the platform.
• Anonymous cohort views. Leaderboards and cohort analytics show aggregated, anonymous ranks. Your name, email and phone are never displayed to other users.

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to work: two httpOnly session cookies (access and refresh) and a short-lived cookie used during account creation. We do not run advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

Accessibility preferences and a few UI settings are stored in your browser’s local storage. Clearing them signs you out and resets those preferences.

We keep account and preparation data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove personal identifiers and retain only what we are required to keep for legal, security or fraud-prevention purposes, or in anonymised form for aggregate analytics.

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Sessions use short-lived access tokens with rotating refresh tokens; a token used once is revoked. All traffic is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password and keep your credentials private.

You can, at any time:

• View and update your name and target exam from the profile screen.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the address in the Contact section. We respond within a reasonable time and may verify your identity before acting on a request.

The platform is intended for candidates preparing for competitive examinations, typically aged 15 and above. Users under 18 should use the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian who consents to this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page changes, and material changes are announced in-app or by email. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated policy.
